Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Spanish
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) knowledge
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments, cold or refrigerated conditions, and wet or damp environments
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks as part of their duties and demonstrate attention to detail in their work
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout their workday
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
- The candidates should also be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities and be effective team players, collaborating well with colleagues
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to advise supervisors of ingredient or product deficiencies, take samples of products at various stages of processing, and examine ingredients or finished products to ensure conformance to company standards
- The candidates should be able to conduct routine tests for product specifications, grade and label raw materials or finished products, and ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations
- The candidates should also be able to provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
