Job Description:

Salary: $35.00 hourly for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Vancouver, BC
Shifts: Day, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Windows, Electronic Mail, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills and excellent written communication abilities
  • The candidate should be organized, reliable, and demonstrate teamwork
  • The candidate should have the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining focus

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to administer staff consultation and grievance procedures and identify current and prospective staffing requirements and provide information or services, such as employee assistance and counselling
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and post notices and advertisements and collect and screen applicants and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • The candidates should be able to review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • The candidates should be able to advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures and organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • The candidates should be able to determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training and supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties and recruit and hire staff
