Broadview Nursing Centre is a long-term care facility which has been offering a wide range of services, including 24-hour nursing care, rehabilitation services, and social activities for many years. Our facility is staffed by a team of qualified and dedicated healthcare professionals, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, personal support workers, and rehabilitation therapists. Salary: $24.82 hourly 52.5 hours bi-weekly

Location: Smiths Falls, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening
Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged
Supervision: 5-10 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: CPR Certificate, Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized, should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, conduct disease screening
- The candidates should be able to dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
- The candidates should be able to operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment, provide nursing care
- The candidates should be able to provide supportive counselling and life skills programming
- The candidates should be able to supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
