Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have minimum High School Education
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
  • The candidates should be able to obtain and maintain a valid RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) and AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit)
  • The candidates should possess knowledge and aptitude for basic mechanical and electrical tasks

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide support to the production team by performing a number of tasks contributing to a safe and efficient hangar environment
  • The candidates should be able to perform hangar housekeeping activities such as garbage and recycling collection and disposal, floor cleaning, and restocking of hangar consumables
  • The candidates should be able to participate in and document safety, facility, quality control, and environmental inspections as well as the implementation of corrective actions approved by the Base Manager
  • The candidates should be able to carry out and document elementary maintenance of GSE and perform bi-weekly fluid and functionality checks
  • The candidates should be able to take safety actions such as clearing and sanding external walkways and doorways, performing annual ladder and stand inspections, and restocking spill kits
  • The candidates should be able to perform general hangar equipment repairs such as for water hoses and reels, electrical cords and reels, and water filter replacements
  • The candidates should be able to support the Shops team in staging and performing supervised tooling and inspections and repairs
  • The candidates should be able to assist with visitor and contractor hangar access and supervision
  • The candidates should be able to support the Stores Team with the movement of parts and tooling between hangar and ramp locations
  • The candidates should be able to assist the Ground Equipment Team with the movement of equipment to and from our vendors
  • The candidates should be able to engage in refueling some GSE such as GPUs, Heaters, Jet Starts, and Stair Trucks
