Salary: $15.25 hourly 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Montréal, QC
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours
Transportation information: Public transportation is available, Travel expenses paid by employer
Work setting: Employer’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment
Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Security and safety: Reference required

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in non-smoking, and scent free area

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a client-focused approach, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication
  • The candidates should be flexible, show initiative, exercise good judgment, and be organized and reliable team players
  • The candidates should have effective time management skills

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips, assist with child supervision and housekeeping, and wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
  • The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, discipline them according to parents’ methods, instruct in personal hygiene and social development, keep records of daily activities and health information, maintain a safe and healthy environment, organize activities, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
  • The candidates should supervise and care for children, take them to and from school and appointments, tend to their emotional well-being, and help with homework
