Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared for the physically demanding aspects of the job and capable of handling repetitive tasks efficiently
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and able to handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and be organized in managing their workload and tasks
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability in their work performance and be able to collaborate effectively as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate the cash register efficiently, operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems proficiently, and provide advice about merchandise to customers
- The candidates should be able to advertise and/or promote products, sales, or services effectively, perform data entry accurately, and provide excellent customer service
- The candidates should be able to assist in the display of merchandise professionally, conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce channels, greet customers warmly, and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease
- The candidates should be able to maintain sales records for inventory control meticulously
