Mighty Meats & Deli Inc. based in Winnipeg, MB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Sausage maker. Mighty Meats & Deli Inc. is a family-run meat shop. We offer a wide variety of locally sourced meats and artisan products such as Angus Beef and Locally sources pork and chicken. Our products are naturally made and allergy friendly. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $15.00 to $25.00 per hour for 30 to 45 hours per week

Work Location Information: The area is rural
Work Site Environment: Candidates should work in noisy place
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Candidates must have Safe Food Handling certificate
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Candidates must have knowledge of the Multi-functional process control machinery
Type of Operations: Mixing and grinding
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to manually dexter
- The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidate should be physically strong
- The candidate should have hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidate should be able to pay attention to details
- The candidate should be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible period
- The candidate should bhave an excellent oral communication
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to set up and adjust processing and packaging machines
- The candidate should be able to perform corrective machine adjustments
- The candidate should be able to inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities
- The candidate should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidate should be able to record production information
