Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner by the province/territory of work
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have attention to detail, capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling, and handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be physically fit for demanding tasks
  • The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods and stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate, dependability, flexibility, initiative, , reliable, organized, and judgment
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills
  • The candidates should have excellent written communication skills
  • The candidates should have interpersonal awareness and be a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to practice infection control diligently
  • The candidates should be able to advise patients on healthcare effectively
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team and plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care proficiently
  • The candidates should be able to examine patients and take their medical histories and consult with physicians and other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health accurately
  • The candidates should be able to order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures appropriately, and conduct patient interviews, physical assessments, and take medical histories systematically
  • The candidates should be able to formulate and implement treatment plans and monitor patients’ progress meticulously, and inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases effectively
  • The candidates should be able to perform or order diagnostic tests and interpret results accurately, and provide health maintenance education comprehensively
