Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of three years of scheduling experience in a related position, preferably in a regulated environment

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be available to work Monday to Friday, from 0700 to 1500 and be comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with the requirement to be onsite at Canadian Blood Services location 40% of the time and days of the week

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have post-secondary education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution
  • The candidates should have strong computer skills using Word and Excel, with a strong working knowledge of personal computers, particularly experience with a Windows operating system and Microsoft Outlook
  • The candidates should have demonstrated ability to gather and analyze information with a high degree of deductive reasoning
  • The candidates should have excellent communication (written and verbal), customer service, and interpersonal skills, along with superior organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should maintain confidentiality of employee information and previous experience with SAP and accuracy with attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assess and plan staffing requirements in consultation with Manager/Supervisors to meet operational
  • The candidates should be able to prepare, create, and revise work schedules in accordance with Collective Agreement requirements
  • The candidates should be able to perform timekeeping and payroll functions for all Supply Chain employees
  • The candidates should be able to maintain accurate records of staffing and payroll information and perform other activities
