Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of post-secondary level education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of three years of scheduling experience in a related position, preferably in a regulated environment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be available to work Monday to Friday from 0700 to 1500, work in a hybrid environment, with a requirement to be onsite at the Canadian Blood Services location 40% of the time or days per week
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess strong computer skills using Word and Excel, and have a strong working knowledge of personal computers, with preference given to experience with a Windows operating system and Microsoft Outlook
- The candidates should expect to undergo testing on Excel skills, demonstrate the ability to gather and analyze information with a high degree of deductive reasoning
- The candidates should have excellent communication (written and verbal), customer service, and interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have superior organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be committed to maintaining confidentiality of employee information, previous experience with SAP and demonstrate accuracy with strong attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assess and plan staffing requirements in consultation with Manager/Supervisors to meet operational
- The candidates should be able to prepare, create, and revise work schedules in accordance with Collective Agreement requirements
- The candidates should be able to perform timekeeping and payroll functions for all Supply Chain employees, maintain accurate records and documentation
