Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 1.5 – 3 years experience in financial advisory role managing and growing your own portfolio of clients

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be flexible to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, to deliver a great client experience
  • The candidates should be flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance to help deliver a great client experience

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to manage and grow a dedicated client portfolio through key relationship management, creating comprehensive financial plans, and providing exceptional client service as a member of the Personal and Business Banking Team
  • The candidates should be able to expertly deliver on CIBC’s Imperial Service approach as a Senior Financial Advisor in the Imperial Service Team, taking responsibility for a large portfolio and helping clients plan for today’s needs and tomorrow’s goals
  • The candidates should be able to proactively engage with many new and existing clients to make lasting connections and understand their goals
  • The candidates should be able to build clients’ financial plans using advanced CIBC tools and give them the right advice to help them make well-informed choices for their future
  • The candidates should be able to focus on each client experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful, delivering trusted investment advice and creating personalized financial plans to enhance existing relationships
  • The candidates should be able to cultivate their network to establish new client relationships
