Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Audio/audio-visual, project management, communications, digital media, and strategy
Area of work experience: Community service organization, communications, and public relations
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office, MS Outlook, Adobe Photoshop, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Google Drive, LinkedIn, MailChimp, Shopify
Own tools/equipment: Computer, printer, internet access, cellular phone, fax machine
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong attention to detail and be willing to work overtime when required to handle a large workload

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to evaluate and implement communication strategies and programs, oversee the preparation of public written material, and prepare written material such as reports, briefs, and website content
  • The candidates should be able to publicize activities, workshops, meetings, and other events for fundraising or information purposes, write speeches, presentations, and press releases, and perform administrative tasks
  • The candidates should be able to conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products, prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, or articles, and assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other material
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate special publicity events and promotions, gather, research, and prepare communications material, prepare sports, literary, performance, or other contracts, and conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and website promotions
  • The candidates should be able to write and edit press releases, newsletters, and communications materials
