Salary: $15.75 hourly for 35 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: Certificate of Conduct and First Aid Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking and comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and willing to work overtime when required
- The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks involving repetitive tasks and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, exhibit dependability, and exhibit reliability
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, demonstrate excellent oral communication, and show client focus
- The candidates should display flexibility, show initiative, and demonstrate good judgment
- The candidates should be organized and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, administer medications, and assist clients in water (i.e., pool)
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, and provide companionship
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household (in the absence of the householder), change non-sterile dressings, and launder clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies
- The candidates should be able to provide personal care and prepare and serve nutritious meals
