Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have educational qualifications such as post-secondary education
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience and acumen in business, engineering, statistics or human resources
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess knowledge of data analytics concepts, and experience in analytics
- The candidates should have an advanced knowledge of Excel to facilitate the development and analysis of data. Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, and SQL would be highly beneficial
- The candidates should have excellent speaking, writing, listening, and presentation skills
- The candidates should demonstrate advanced interpersonal skills to effectively deal with multiple stakeholders from all areas within the company on projects ranging from highly technical to conceptual
- The candidates should have knowledge of electric utility regulation, which would be highly beneficial, and they would be expected to build an expert level of knowledge soon after being retained
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide key support to the corporate workforce planning and budgeting process, including detailed review and analysis of planning assumptions, implementation of regulatory requirements, identification of emerging issues and trends, the development of instructions and guidelines, and consolidation of results
- The candidates should be able to support the reporting & analytics of workforce plans and other human capital-related metrics reporting to the Board of Directors, Province of Ontario, and other stakeholders, including preparation of the confidential corporate business plan document, presentations, briefing notes, and other workforce planning materials, as required
- The candidates should be able to provide various analytical services related to human resources information and data processing, such as providing general advice and guidance on data requirements on both a local and business basis, definition of user and system requirements, specifications for information systems, and subsequent development of these systems
- The candidates should be able to review computer system requirements for adherence to corporate HR policies and procedures, compliance with overall business computer strategy, and the general appropriateness of both existing and potential systems. They should integrate system requirements with other potential requirements for processing human resources data and existing computer systems, ensuring that computer systems used in HR take into account corporate standards in both hardware and software
- The candidates should be able to develop plans and recommend priorities for the development of human resources data processes. They should coordinate the process to identify constraints, interface with application development groups, and ensure that the schedule of priorities is understood and adhered to
- The candidates should be able to supervise staff on specific project assignments
