Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Own tools/equipment: Safety glasses/goggles, Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Forklift Operator Certification, Working at heights training
Vehicle and equipment experience: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, Hoists or winches
Area of specialization: Construction
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, and large workload
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy area, at heights, outdoors, hot area, and dusty area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be hardworking, efficient, energetic, quick learner, and organized
- The candidates should have positive attitude
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
- The candidates should be able to pack and unpack goods
- The candidates should be able to operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products
- The candidates should be able to install, lash and secure goods
