Salary: $55,000 to $57,000 annually (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Brampton, ON
Shifts: Day
Work setting: Transportation, Warehouse, Shipping company or agency
Supervision: 5-10 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Dispatch management service software, Human resources software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, with attention to detail and capability of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate and demonstrate client focus, with efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication
  • The candidates should exhibit flexibility, show initiative, and be organized, displaying reliability and a team player mentality
  • The candidates should be analytical and proactive

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop specific plans to prioritize and organize tasks to accomplish the work
  • The candidates should be able to oversee and plan the operational logistics of the organization, including preparing and submitting reports
  • The candidates should be able to train workers in duties and policies, as well as conduct performance reviews
