Shifts: Evening, Shift, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, and Safety glasses/goggles
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to effectively handle tasks and responsibilities under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication skills and maintain organization in their tasks and responsibilities
- The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their duties and commitments and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to supervise workers, projects, and oversee apprenticeship training
- The candidates should be able to coordinate and schedule activities, recruit, hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions
- The candidates should be able to prepare production and other reports, ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and read blueprints and drawings
- The candidates should be able to train or arrange for training, set up machines and equipment, and lead/instruct individuals
