Salary: $116,000 to $125,000 annually (To be negotiated) for 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Day
Transportation information: Own transportation, willing to travel, parking paid by employer
Work setting: Warehouse, head office
Supervision: 5-10 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization: Purchasing, procurement, and contracts, medical instruments and devices, International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
Technical experience: Import and export products
Computer and technology knowledge: Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, material requirements planning (MRP) system, SharePoint, electronic mail, Lean Six Sigma
Specialization/experience in business sales and services: Negotiation
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure financial stability and efficiency, and hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to achieve organizational objectives and foster a productive work environment
  • The candidates should be able to plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures to optimize procurement processes, and assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure their effective execution and alignment with organizational goals
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services to ensure value for money and quality standards are met, and manage contracts effectively, including negotiation, review, and processing of claims against suppliers
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the analysis of data and information to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and oversee the preparation of reports to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • The candidates should be able to advise senior management on strategic and operational matters to support decision-making processes, and plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth functioning and attainment of objectives
  • The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient inventory management, and handle project management responsibilities to ensure timely completion and adherence to project goals
  • The candidates should be able to negotiate for services and preferential rates to optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness, and negotiate rates and terms to secure favorable agreements with suppliers and vendors
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate activities with warehouse and production units to streamline operations and maximize efficiency, and plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of goods or services
