Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge:Â Android, iOS, Device Drivers, Networking Software, Networking Security, Internet, Desktop Applications, File Management Software, Multimedia Software, Word Processing Software, Presentation Software, Communication Software, Mac OS, MS Office, MS Windows, and Spreadsheet
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate, client-focused, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral communication
- The candidates should be organized, a team player, have the ability to multitask, and manage time effectively
- The candidates should uphold honesty and maintain professional integrity
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to give access to computer networks, report on the performance of computer systems and networks, and respond to users experiencing difficulties with computers
- The candidates should be able to consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions, and provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
- The candidates should be able to supervise other technical support workers in this group, and provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
- The candidates should be able to set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software, and provide customer service
- The candidates should be able to manage incidents
