Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience in financial planning and investment sales, with preference given to those with related experience
  • The candidates should be working towards or have successfully obtained the title of Personal Financial Planner (IQPF) in Quebec
  • The candidates should be a certified mutual fund professional with current accreditation in good standing with the MFDA (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course) licensing requirements
  • The candidates should be goal-oriented, enterprising, and capable of working independently as a motivated entrepreneur while also being part of a larger team
  • The candidates should have knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory environment
  • The candidates should be bilingual in French and English, able to communicate fluently in both languages to serve English and French-speaking clients

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to conduct in-depth reviews for assigned clients, including retirement planning, wealth management, and estate planning, using financial planning skills and tools to support clients’ financial goals
  • The candidates should be able to provide reliable financial advice to clients regarding their investments and retirement planning, demonstrating a natural curiosity to discover and meet client
  • The candidates should be able to work autonomously and be performance-driven in uncovering clients’ needs, listening to understand their goals, and delivering personalized financial strategies and solutions
