Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed a three-year degree or diploma in business administration, communications and marketing
Experience: Candidates should have five years of directly marketing and sales

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work with customers, sales, and technical staff to lead and develop successful marketing messages, collateral, and programs
  • The candidates should possess superior organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail and be flexible with work hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and Saturdays
  • The candidates should have the proven ability to conduct professional marketing, advertising, and promotional plans and activities and the ability to independently respond to queries and resolve problems
  • The candidates should be able to organize work effectively, set priorities, and meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision
  • The candidates should possess the ability to handle multiple assignments under the pressures of multiple demands and changing priorities and be self-motivated, with a high level of initiative and a sense of urgency

  • The candidates should demonstrate excellence in organizational and administrative skills and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the unit professionally and interact effectively with clients, instructors, staff, and the public in both official languages
  • The candidates should have strong skills in manipulating electronic data using MS Office and the adaptability to work in a changing electronic environment
  • The candidates should demonstrate proven experience and a solid understanding of web development tools, concepts, and lead management tools such as Liveball, Marketo, and Mailchimp and customer service and tele-sales experience
  • The candidates should represent Future EDge and Carleton University in a professional and knowledgeable manner, with sound knowledge of university structure, procedures, policies, and regulations, as well as Future Edge’s course requirements and schedules
  • The candidates should have excellent presentation, writing, social media, and marketing collateral development skills
  • The candidates should have administrative experience in online and traditional marketing communications and experience in a college or university setting
  • The candidates should have experience in recruiting non-degree program participants in a training or educational environment and be bilingual

  • The candidates should be able to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive communication and marketing plans for the Future EDge Talent Ecosystem, aligning with Carleton University’s strategic objectives
  • The candidates should be able to create strategies that enhance program visibility and recognition locally, nationally, and internationally across various audiences, including the public, government, and business sectors
  • The candidates should be able to manage the ongoing development, maintenance, and optimization of Future EDge’s web and e-communications in coordination with the university’s strategic communication frameworks
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with external design teams and internal faculty and staff to develop a dynamic and relevant online registration system that boosts lead flow and client recruitment
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the creation of marketing materials, ensuring adherence to Carleton University’s branding standards while maintaining high-quality and accurate presentation
  • The candidates should be able to utilize analytics to monitor and refine web and communication strategies, ensuring impactful outreach and alignment with organizational goals
  • The candidates should be able to maintain consistency in visual identity and messaging across all communications to strengthen Future EDge and Carleton University’s reputation among stakeholders
  • The candidates should be able to act as a liaison between Future EDge and Carleton University’s communications teams to ensure alignment with broader institutional marketing efforts
