Salary: $16.00 to $17.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: 559 Water Street, Summerside, PE C1N 6T5
Shifts: 11:00 to 21:30
Supervision: 3-4 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized, reliable, should have excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items including daily specials for customers, and advise on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, and supervise other servers and bussing staff
- The candidates should be able to take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service
