IK Transit based in Mississauga, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Administrative officer. IK Transit leverages advanced technology and industry-leading practices to streamline operations and maximize the speed and accuracy of freight delivery. From precise route planning and optimized load consolidation to real-time tracking and communication. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The position of administrative officer is approved by LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment).

Supervision: 3-4 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be organized
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, and efficient interpersonal skills

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures
  • The candidates should be able to delegate work to office support staff
  • The candidates should be able to establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • The candidates should be able to co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • The candidates should be able to assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • The candidates should be able to oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
