Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates should have secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience in providing administrative support services and providing client services

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate effective communication, adaptability, teamwork, judgment, initiative, and attention to detail
  • The candidates should be willing to work overtime on short notice
  • The candidates should attend the office at a minimum two days each week and possibly more when required

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience in using various computer software applications, such as Microsoft Suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • The candidates should have completed a post-secondary program of at least one year in a field related to the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to accomplish work that allows them to use their organizational and leadership skills
  • The candidates should be able to support the delivery of ACOA’s programs and activities to the public and business community
  • The candidates should be able to plan and coordinate the administrative workflow within a unit
