Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Undergraduate degree in Community Administration, Economic Development, Renewable Resource Management, Public or Business Administration, or a related field
Experience: Candidates should have 2 year or more of recent experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have in-depth knowledge of Nunavut, businesses, tourism, and applicable legislation
- The candidates should possess computer skills utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel software, as well as basic accounting skills
- The candidates should hold a Class 5 license
- The candidates should be fluent in more than one of Nunavut’s official languages
- The candidates should have knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, land, Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, Inuktut, and experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide support to community economic activities, small business support, and tourism product development programs
- The candidates should be able to assist in the delivery of the Tourism Act (TA) regulatory program in the region
- The candidates should be able to provide communities, businesses, tourism operators, and related interest groups with the resources, support, information, and training they need to contribute to the economic development of the region
- The candidates should be able to participate in the delivery of the regional Tourism Act regulatory program

- The candidates will get Northern Allowance of $18,517 per year
