Salary: $16.96 hourly for 15 to 37.5 hours per week
Employment Type: Casual employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Richmond, BC
Shifts: Shift, On Call, Flexible Hours
Transportation information: Own transportation and Public transportation is available

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be adept at handling repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure
  • The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • The candidates should exhibit reliability in fulfilling responsibilities
  • The candidates should be team players, fostering collaboration with colleagues

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used
  • The candidates should be able to portion and wrap foods
  • The candidates should be able to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • The candidates should be able to wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
