Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a minimum of a post-secondary certificate in business, accounting, or finance
Experience: Candidates should have at least one year of accounts payable experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a mailroom environment with machines, which may involve bending, lifting, twisting, and standing for long periods
  • The candidates should be available for varying hours due to operational and be comfortable working in an office environment
  • The candidates should have the ability and willingness to learn new applications, software, systems, and equipment and manage competing and changing priorities

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have administrative experience and possess good verbal, reading, and written communication skills
  • The candidates should be bilingual (English or French) preferred; required in Quebec and demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The candidates should have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to encode all invoices with proper General Ledger accounts based upon FedEx guidelines to aid in proper financial reporting of expenses and payments
  • The candidates should be able to scan invoices into the imaging system for internal processing and document retention
  • The candidates should be able to process a high volume of customer invoices through manual printing and mail preparation
  • The candidates should be able to ensure invoices and approval processes are compliant with company policies and guidelines
  • The candidates should be able to participate in month-end close processes to ensure all invoices are processed
  • The candidates should be able to validate entries for accuracy and compliance with departmental guidelines and support and cover Reception and perform other duties
