Salary: $20.00 to $29.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Transportation information: Valid driver’s license, Vehicle supplied by employer, and Willing to travel
Work setting: Various locations, Relocation costs not covered by employer, and Business office

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Inventory control software, MS Office, and Internet
Type of industry experience: Aviation and Aerospace industry
Transportation specialization: Airport
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Driver’s validity license check, and Driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of distinguishing between colors and possess attention to detail
  • The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, thriving in a fast-paced environment that demands excellent hand-eye coordination
  • The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, familiar with repetitive tasks, and willing to work overtime as required
  • The candidates should be adept at working under tight deadlines, able to work under pressure, and capable of lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • The candidates should be able to handle loads of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and manage loads of up to 23 kg (50 lbs), demonstrating the ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

  • The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, oral communication, and written communication
  • The candidates should function effectively as a team player
  • The candidates should uphold values and ethics
  • The candidates should be punctuality, reliable, organized, flexibility, and dependability

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to identify, label, and catalogue items received with accuracy and attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use in a timely manner
  • The candidates should be able to maintain records on the inventory control system to track stock levels and movements
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and track work orders efficiently
  • The candidates should be able to prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies as needed
  • The candidates should be able to process incoming requisitions promptly and accurately
  • The candidates should be able to receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials with care
  • The candidates should be able to sell spare and replacement parts to internal or external customers
  • The candidates should be able to ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment as required
  • The candidates should be able to store items in the warehouse, tool room, or supply area, maintaining organized and accessible storage
