Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a minimum Grade 12 diploma
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience, specifically in accounts receivable

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have proven ability to manage accounting figures and financial records and be legally entitled to work in Canada

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a diploma in accounting or equivalent experience and experience working in a multi-company environment and previous aviation experience

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to record daily cash transactions in the accounts receivable systems and reconcile to the bank and general ledger accounts
  • The candidates should be able to collect cash and deposits from necessary departments at required intervals
  • The candidates should be able to create reconciliation reports for each individual agent and follow up
  • The candidates should be able to process and reconcile credit card, electronic, and online funds received to ensure the bank account is current and accurate
  • The candidates should be able to prepare daily deposits for the bank on or prior to the deadline and review Moneris reports and record closed batches daily
