Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should be currently enrolled full-time at a post secondary institution in a certificate, diploma or degree program , and returning full-time as a student in the fall of 2024
Experience: Candidates should have experience in the fields of Communications, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Procurement

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be a minimum of 19 years of age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen
  • The candidates should operate in a high sensory environment, and work in an environment where they will be exposed to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace
  • The candidates should have experience in managing small initiatives
  • The candidates should have experience in research and analysis

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should know preference will be given to candidates in a field of study related to the SIGA property and hiring manager’s business units needs
  • The candidates should have experience in the fields of Communications, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Procurement
  • The candidates should have experience working with various computer programs such as Microsoft Office
  • The candidates should have compliance with all regulatory requirements, as may be applicable to the candidates’ position, including but not limited to both SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist in the preparation and implementation of departmental initiatives
  • The candidates should be able to work on assignments and projects aimed at improving processes and procedures within the department
  • The candidates should be able to act as a backup for department consultants/specialists
  • The candidates should be able to perform other duties as assigned by the director or manager of the department
