Salary: $20.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Location: Burlington, ON
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Employer’s home and Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment
Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs), be non-smoking, and be scent free

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be client-focused, have strong time management skills, and have patience
• The candidates should demonstrate honesty and maintain professionalism in all tasks

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, bathe, dress and feed infants and children, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
• The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children and ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
