Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates should have standard educational qualification such as Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children
Security and safety: Bondable, Child Abuse Registry check, Criminal record check
Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be need to work if overtime required.
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate should be flexible, initiative, reliabile.
- The candidate should be focused on client and a good team player.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
- The candidate should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize, activities such as games and outings for children.
- The candidate should prepare and serve nutritious meals, prepare infants and children for rest periods, supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and to appointments, help children with homework.
