Greenways Textiles Ltd. based in Georgetown, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Clothing buyer. Greenways Textiles Ltd. is a leading supplier of Institutional Mixed rags, Credential clothing, Shoes, Belts, Purses and other recyclables items from USA & Canada. Our company was established in 2016 and over the years, Greenways Textiles has built its reputation on uprightness & reliability. We have established ourselves as a consistent and reliable supplier of good quality rags/Used clothing from Salvation Army, Goodwill, SVDP & other premium private’s charities. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Job Description:

Salary: $27.50 hourly for 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 15093 Danby Road, Georgetown, ON L7G 0B1
Shifts: Day, Weekend


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Internet, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be accurate, client focus, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position


  • The candidates should be able to arrange product according to planogram, establish and maintain contact with suppliers
  • The candidates should be able to maintain adequate stock levels
  • The candidates should be able to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers
  • The candidates should be able to oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets, provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • The candidates should be able to select and purchase merchandise for resale, study market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials and visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events
  • The candidates should be able to supervise work of other buyers, visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events
