Salary: $22.00 to $28.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Richmond Hill, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Construction specialization: Residential
Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete saws, mortar and concrete mixers, grinding machine, grouting machine, air guns, nail guns, drills, small front end loaders, and hand tools
Credentials: Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in dusty environments
• The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel in meeting tight deadlines
• The candidates should be adept at handling repetitive tasks, capable of handling heavy loads as part of their duties, and physically capable of managing demanding tasks
• The candidates should possess manual dexterity in performing tasks, be able to work under pressure, and have a high level of attention to detail
• The candidates should demonstrate hand-eye coordination and exhibit sound discrimination abilities

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials
• The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials
• The candidates should be able to clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
• The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• The candidates should be able to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
• The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints
