Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have successfully completed a High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years policing experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have a valid PREP certification (physical readiness evaluation for police) is required at application
- The candidates should adhere to the minimum standard of hearing and vision requirements
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents
- The candidates should be at least 18 years of age with good moral character
- The candidates should possess a valid full G Ontario Driver’s License or Provincial Equivalent
- The candidates should be able to pass a security clearance as well as a background investigation, credit, and reference check
- The candidates should complete Standard First Aid and CPR-C prior to hire
