Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a university degree in Marketing, Communications and Business Administration
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work well in a team environment and be a strong team player
- The candidates should have a criminal reference check will be required upon time of hire
- The candidates should have availability to work evenings and weekends
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a degree in urban planning or a related field and a valid G Ontario driver’s license in good standing

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plan, lead, and manage the consultation and engagement strategy for the Downtown Revitalization program
- The candidates should be able to serve as the key contact person and resource for downtown businesses and stakeholders regarding specific infrastructure projects in the downtown area
- The candidates should be able to provide guidance, advice, and support to downtown businesses and stakeholders throughout the Downtown Revitalization program
- The candidates should be able to build and maintain trust and relationships with all downtown stakeholders
- The candidates should be able to act as the onsite liaison during the construction of downtown infrastructure to ensure continuous meaningful engagement with stakeholders
- The candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with other departments across the Corporation, including Engineering Services and Communications and Community Engagement, to coordinate the successful delivery of downtown infrastructure projects
- The candidates should be able to plan, participate in, and attend project meetings, workshops, Council and Committee meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions
- The candidates should be able to prepare verbal and written presentations and reports related to downtown infrastructure projects and stakeholder engagement activities
