Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience in financial planning and investment sales
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work independently as a self-motivated entrepreneur with minimal supervision
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have successfully completed (or be working towards) the Personal Financial Planning (PFP®) designation (or IQPF designation within Quebec), and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation
- The candidates should be an accredited mutual funds professional in good standing with CIRO licensing requirements (Investments Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
- The candidates should be knowledgeable of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory environment
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to conduct in-depth reviews for assigned clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning, utilizing financial planning skills and tools to support clients’ financial goals
- The candidates should be able to exhibit a natural curiosity to uncover and solve for clients’ needs, delivering trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate self-motivation and a goal-oriented mindset when identifying clients’ needs, crafting personalized financial strategies and solutions
- The candidates should be able to foster strong engagement, educating clients, offering insights, and delivering expert financial advice
- The candidates should be able to exercise a collaborative approach when dealing with peers, clients, and partners, ensuring effective teamwork and client satisfaction
- The candidates should be able to build relationships, focusing on providing a great client experience and growing long-standing relationships with existing clients
