Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children
Transportation information: Public transportation is available and Willing to travel
Work setting: Employer’s home and Room and board provided
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers, adhering to a smoke-free policy, and physically capable of meeting the demands of a physically demanding job
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as part of their regular job responsibilities
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused, prioritizing the needs and satisfaction of clients, and equipped with efficient interpersonal skills, fostering positive interactions with clients and colleagues
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, articulating ideas and information clearly and persuasively, along with excellent written communication, producing clear and effective written materials

- The candidates should be reliable, instilling confidence in their ability to consistently deliver results, and have effective time management skills, ensuring optimal productivity and meeting deadlines
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shopping for food and household supplies
- The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties, wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, prepare infants and children for rest periods, and supervise and care for children, tending to their emotional well-being
