Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of currently pursuing post-secondary education with a focus in event management
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist with general office support, including clerical and administrative functions within the Exhibit Sales department
  • The candidates should be able to maintain customer service excellence with vendors, sponsors, suppliers, and trades
  • The candidates should be able to assist the Exhibit Sales team with indoor and outdoor show operations, including vendor correspondence, event signage production, and logistics planning
  • The candidates should be able to assist with updating vendor and event databases leading into and throughout the fair and assist with floor plan auditing and maintenance related to vendors
  • The candidates should be able to assist with event planning and work orders and coordinate photography lists for all related vendor booths
  • The candidates should be able to liaise with event support staff, including set-up crews, suppliers, and trades
  • The candidates should be able to assist with move-in and move-out of outdoor retail vendors, including site plan audits and outdoor tent placements
  • The candidates should be able to liaise daily with outdoor retailers throughout the 18-day fair and complete daily evaluation reports on each outdoor retailer
  • The candidates should be able to ensure compliance with CNE rules and regulations regarding outdoor retailers
  • The candidates should be able to assist the Account Manager, Outdoor Exhibits in investigating and resolving any complaints relative to outdoor concessionaires and retailers
