Vegpro International Inc. founded in 1998, is the largest vegetable producer in Canada. Specialized in the washing and packaging of baby lettuces, we also sell a wide range of vegetables grown on our own land. Our mission is to be the recognized leader in innovation of agricultural production and salad and vegetable packaging in order to supply our customers all year long on the east coast of North America. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.
Job Description:

Salary: $14.25 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: Sherrington, QC
Shifts: Day and Evening
Work Site Environment: Candidates should work in outdoors and other miscellaneous crop farming
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Type of Crops: Carrots and Onions
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail
- The candidate should be physically strong
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks
- The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidate should be able for bending, crouching, kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to hand harvesting vegetables
- The candidate should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidate should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare for market
