Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Willing to travel regularly, Valid driver’s license, Public transportation is not available
Work setting: Remote land Various Location, Rural area and Equipment operation
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Bobcats, Concrete vibrators, Circular saws, Concrete saws, Mortar and concrete mixers, Grinding machine, Jackhammers, Air compressors, Drills, Small front end loaders, Chain saw, Forklift, Sledgehammer
Construction specialization: Roads and bridges
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Gloves, Cellular phone, Safety vest
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work outdoors as part of their job duties
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in hot environments
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to tight deadlines and performing physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and manual dexterity
- The candidates should be capable of lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

- The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities
- The candidates should demonstrate a collaborative attitude and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as needed
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials according to instructions
- The candidates should be able to assist heavy equipment operators as required
- The candidates should be able to level earth to fine grade specifications
- The candidates should be able to pave and rake asphalt surfaces
- The candidates should be able to assist in demolishing buildings as directed
- The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials appropriately
- The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance work on tools and equipment
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris from construction sites
- The candidates should be able to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
- The candidates should be able to direct traffic at or near construction sites as necessary
