Salary: $19.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 3 Mercedes Drive Etobicoke, ON M9V 4T4
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, Morning

Transportation information: Public transportation is available, Willing to travel, Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Experience with special needs children: Children with allergies
Credentials: Emergency child care first aid and CPR, Mental health first aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Child Abuse Registry check, Child welfare check, Criminal record check, Driver’s validity licence check, Medical exam, Reference required, Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking and adhere to a scent-free environment
- The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks and be comfortable with repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) as part of their duties
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills and exhibit excellent oral and written communication abilities
- The candidates should show flexibility in their work approach and take initiative when needed, exercising good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities and be reliable in meeting deadlines and commitments
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents competently and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties efficiently
- The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies thoughtfully and travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties diligently
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens proficiently and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children with care
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents respectfully and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development effectively
- The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children accurately and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home conscientiously
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children creatively and prepare and serve nutritious meals for children nutritiously
- The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods appropriately and sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and change diapers for infants efficiently
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children attentively and take children to and from school and to appointments punctually
- The candidates should be able to tend to the emotional well-being of children compassionately and help children with homework effectively
