Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Food specialties: Breads and rolls, Desserts and pastries, Wedding and specialty cakes, Donuts and muffins, and Cake decorating
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to distinguish between colours
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, client focus, dependable, and reliable
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
- The candidates should be able to requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, bake mixed dough and batters, prepare special orders
- The candidates should be able to train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
- The candidates should be able to frost and decorate cakes and baked goods, inspect kitchen and food service areas
- The candidates should be able to ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory, oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
- The candidates should be able to prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
