Salary: $27.00 hourly for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent employment
Location: Saskatoon, SK
Shifts: To be determined
Work site environment: Candidates should work in outdoors and dusty place
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
Type of crops: Blueberries and Raspberries
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure and also pay attention to detail
- The candidate should be physically strong and also a combination of sitting, standing, walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in an organized way
- The candidate should be a team player and also have an excellent oral communication
- The candidate should be able to supervise 5-10 people
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, develop work schedules and establish procedures and also perform general farm duties
- The candidate should be able to ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, maintain quality control and production records and also supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
