Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle physically demanding tasks, and be capable of performing repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be attentive to detail, skilled in handling heavy loads, and able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should have good hand-eye coordination and be able to stand for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to walk as part of their job duties and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
• The candidates should be proficient in weight handling, up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses, perform greenhouse cleaning, and mix fertilizer
• The candidates should be able to monitor animal health, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and perform weeding
• The candidates should be able to fertilize and spray crops, harvest crops, and feed and tend animals
• The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, and perform general farm duties
• The candidates should be able to mix and prepare soils, clean the work area, clean the crops, and hand harvest vegetables
