Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work independently as self-motivated entrepreneurs with minimal supervision

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience in financial planning and investment sales and successfully completed or be working towards the Personal Financial Planning (PFP®) designation (or IQPF designation within Quebec) and/or the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation
  • The candidates should be accredited mutual funds professionals in good standing with CIRO licensing requirements, such as the Investments Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course
  • The candidates should be knowledgeable of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory environment

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to conduct in-depth reviews for assigned clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning, utilizing financial planning skills and tools to support clients’ financial goals
  • The candidates should be able to exhibit a natural curiosity to uncover and solve client needs, delivering trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate self-motivation and a goal-oriented mindset when identifying clients’ needs to craft personalized financial strategies and solutions
  • The candidates should be able to foster strong engagement, educate clients, offer insights, and deliver expert advice
  • The candidates should be able to exercise a collaborative approach when dealing with peers, clients, and partners
  • The candidates should be able to build relationships, focusing on providing a great client experience and growing long-standing relationships with existing clients
