Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 hourly for 30 to 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent employment
Location: Coquitlam, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, To be determined and Morning
Work setting: Food and beverage plant
Work site environment: Candidates should work in odours and dusty place
Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Own tools/equipment: Candidates should have steel-toed safety boots
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work overtime, in fast-paced environment, under pressure, manually dexter, perform repetitive tasks, pay attention to detail, handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong and also have hand-eye co-ordination
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials and also check products and packaging for basic quality defects
- The candidate should be able to measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, feed and unload processing machines, assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties and also clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidate should be able to feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers, remove filled containers from conveyors and also manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
