Job Description:

Position: HACCP co-ordinator – food processing
No of Vacancies: 1
Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: London, ON
Work setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment
Regulation knowledge: Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Quality assurance or control 

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have excellent oral and written communication, displaying flexibility and exercising good judgment
  • The candidates should be organized, reliable, and team players who uphold values and ethics

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • The candidates should be able to prepare production and other reports
  • The candidates should be able to identify, evaluate, control, and prevent hazards at all stages of the food production process
