Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, serve meal trays, and feed patients
- The candidates should be able to weigh, lift, turn, and position patients, make beds, and maintain patients’ rooms
- The candidates should be able to deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments and supervise patients’ exercise routines
- The candidates should be able to administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas, as well as maintain an inventory of supplies
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and groom patients, assist with the set-up and maintenance of traction equipment, and clean or sterilize equipment
- The candidates should be able to transport patients between care facilities and answer call signals
- The candidates should be able to accompany patients on outside recreational activities, performing other duties related to patient care and comfort
