Nicholas Whittle based in Vancouver, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Domestic housekeeper. Transportation information: Public transportation is available and Willing to travel
Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Reference required

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be proficient in bending, crouching, and kneeling, and comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • The candidates should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and physically fit to handle demanding tasks
  • The candidates should be skilled in handling repetitive tasks and adept at working under pressure
  • The candidates should possess a high level of attention to detail and be capable of lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate punctuality in their work and be dedicated to client focus
  • The candidates should exhibit dependability in their responsibilities and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing situations
  • The candidates should show initiative in their work and exercise good judgment in their decision-making
  • The candidates should be highly organized and exhibit reliability in their work
  • The candidates should be effective team players and have excellent written communication skills
  • The candidates should uphold values and ethics in their professional conduct

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • The candidates should be able to wash windows, walls, and ceilings, stock the linen closet, and pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • The candidates should be able to handle and report lost and found items, dust furniture, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • The candidates should be able to distribute clean towels and toiletries, make beds and change sheets, provide basic information on facilities, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
